Elisa Bosse
Elisa Bosse
(*2001, born in Bergen, Norway) is currently in her 10th semester studying
Fine Art/Painting at Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin. In 2024, she spent a
semester in Porto Alegre, Brazil, at UFRGS.
Her work explores tenderness, vulnerability, and a quiet
calmness in both humans and nature. Through very thin layers of paint, she
creates gentle surfaces that communicate qualities of calmness and silence.
In her work, Elisa Bosse explores nature and the human
relationship to it. She is interested in nature as it is - in its quiet
presence but also how we perceive it and later interact with it. Especially in
current times. We experience nature through our senses: as color and form,
sound, feeling etc. From this moment of our perception of nature, Elisa Bosse
creates works that explore nature as these qualities.
